Learn modern and traditional survival skills that will keep you comfortable in the bush. This course covers survival planning and mindset, basic first aid, firecraft, sheltercraft, signaling and more.

Primitive Living Skills - $275./person*
This hands-on course explores original living skills which avoid specialized equipment by making use of the natural materials that are found all around us. This course can be taken on its own; but compliments the NWS Bushcraft & Survival Workshop.

June 18 & 19 (Father's Day Weekend)
Fly Fishing Adventure - $425./person*
This weekend is designed for beginners; but everyone is welcome. Spend the morning learning the equipment, casting and flies. Enjoy lunch by the river then spend the next day and a half camping, fishing and exploring the beautiful South Branch of the SW Miramichi River.

Hunter Bushcraft & Survival Training - $150./person*
This course is designed for hunters, but everyone is welcome. Learn modern survival skills and emergency first-aid that will help keep you safe this hunting season.

October 2
Navigation - $150./person*

Take Hunter Bushcraft & Survival Training and Navigation as a combo for $275./person*
Youth (age 14-17); who are accompanied by a participating adult, receive a 15% discount for the courses offered on October 1st and 2nd.

Due to the remote location of NWS, certain events and workshops hosted here offer food and lodging options beyond those covered by the event fees. Unless otherwise posted, the standard NWS rates are as follows:
